I am the proud ( and completely protective) owner of Timba, a 2 year old Boxer and Ziggy, a 2 year old rescue Great Dane. A fun, mad and demanding twosome that keep you on your toes. Caroline has been walking my boys for nearly six months and it has been a great help to me. I recently went away for four days and was unable to take my dogs. I was reassured knowing that Caroline would take them out and tire them out ( a tough job with my two). Also taking the time to text me everyday to reassure me that they were home safe and sound. My beautiful Holly lost her day time companion (my mother) earlier this year and within a few weeks she was very subdued and I was struggling to give her the time and attention she was used to. I decided to find a dog walker, but it had to be someone who understood what an older dog would need. Holly is nearly 11 and although she likes other dogs I didn't want her to be chased around too much and preferred someone who didn't have young children to pull Holly around.

Holly really looks forward to her walks with Caroline and gets herself ready by the door most lunch times and there isn't much I can do to move her. She became a happy cheerful girl again. The relief and comfort for me, whilst I am at work has been well worth the money.

I got my first puppy in the Summer of 2009 called Chester. I work from home regularly but there are times when I have to work away and naturally I was concerned about leaving a little puppy for any length of time. I contacted Caroline and have never looked back. It is sometimes short notice when I realise I might be away from home but Caroline has always been able to help us out when we needed her. Caroline often texts me to let me know that Chester is ok which is very reassuring. Chester clearly loves Carolines visits too.

We have been using K9 Walker for our Boxer dog for over a year and are extremely pleased with the excellent level of service we have received.  Caroline's friendly and professional attitude immediately put us at ease about entrusting our pet to her care and she has always met our high expectations. We have a great big cuddly but very naughty Golden Retriever, Billy. Earlier this year we needed to find a dog walker for him as a few changes in our lifestyle meant we couldn't walk him regularly. Billy has found a fantastic friend and very reliable walker to make sure he gets the exercise and company he needs. As well as taking Billy for his walks, Caroline has also managed to improve his cheeky behaviour and he responds well to her. I am the owner of two lively rescue dogs. Being a wheelchair user I can't take my dogs to the field so I was very relieved when I was introduced to Caroline of K9 Walker. Both of my dogs have had difficult backgrounds and Caroline's rich knowledge of dogs helps me to provide the right care for them in regards to their sometimes challenging behaviour, their nutrition, need for exercise .etc. Caroline has a flexible approach towards our needs and often goes the extra mile to accomodate my wishes, in terms of times, vet visits, and even taking one of my dogs to hydrotherapy. Our Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy Kimba has been going to Doggy Day Care at Caroline's (K9 Walker) for a few days a week since she was around 10 weeks old. We've been extremely happy with the reliable and flexible service that Caroline provides. Kimba has a whale of a time with the other dogs and is calm and contented in the evenings after a busy day playing! Caroline has been looking after our Labradoodle puppy Bella since she was 4 months old providing a puppy day care service. Caroline is a warm, easy, smiley person with a true passion for dogs that is clear to see the first time that you meet her.  Caroline has been a fantastic help with dog socialising with Bella as well as our whole family. Caroline has put her self out to help our 4 year old son Nathan to be confident around dogs as well as how to be a chicken feeder when we go to pick up Bella!! This experience has been brilliant for Nathan. Bella is now 8 months old and is a very happy, well socialised puppy and I am convinced that Caroline has played an enormous part in achieving this for Bella. Bella is very happy and enthusiastic when we arrive at Caroline’s house in the morning and always looks happy and relaxed when to come to pick her up in the evening. There have been times when she has been reluctant to leave, which for me is lovely as we know that she has had a good time.

Caroline and Ian have been walking our rescue German Shepherd, Diesel, since he arrived with us in November 2010. It's always been interesting to us that Diesel has this whole other life that we know nothing about whilst we're at work, but on the odd occasion that we've been home and seen him head off, it's very obvious that he's extremely fond of both of them and loves his time out and about without a second look back at us! They've been very flexible and were great at adapting the walks just after Diesel had an operation and needed a buster collar for 10 days. Sadly we're leaving the area now, but I'd heartily recommend Caroline and Ian (and Caroline's liver cake recipe) to any dog owners. You can feel very safe knowing they have a key to your house and will take good care of your beloved dog.

I love my two lovely british shorthair cats and I love to travel. A contradiction? Not with Caroline of K9 Walker! Whenever I want to go away, she takes excellent care of my pets, even on a very short notice. I know that I can absolutely rely on her to feed them, cuddle them, play with them and clean any mess they may have left behind... My normally very shy and admittedly rather spoilt cats have instantly taken to her and made a friend for life, which is an enormous compliment in itself! Moreover, as Caroline keeps me updated via little text messages, emails and even photos, I dont have to worry about the state of things at home when abroad. Coming home and meeting two very happy, playful and healthy cats rather then two angry pets who will ignore me for the next 72 hours is always a pleasure- and whoever owns cats will know very well what I am talking about. Mason is lovable rogue. He is a typical feisty male terrier but with the added problem of being totally deaf. So he is oblivious to any commands unless he is looking at you, which he rarely is as he is so excitable. Because of his deafness he needs to be kept on a lead. K9 Walker came into our lives when I was about to have an operation which would mean I would be unable to walk him for a few weeks. Caroline and Ian took him out whilst I was unwell and as he was clearly benefitting (as was I) from him being less hyperactive the walks have continued since I went back to work. Both Caroline and Ian are clearly dog lovers and able to deal with his particular needs and they are very friendly and have come to know all the family. I know that they will come in every day, walk Mason and then ensure he is settled down and comfortable. Both our lives have been enhanced by the professional and friendly service provided by them.

I am the proud and somewhat protective owner of a Rotti X who needs lots of exercise. Prior to using the services of K9 Walker, I used another company who unfortunately let me down on several occasions. I started using Caroline's services a few months ago and the change in Ainsley is amazing. He is so much more relaxed, and I have personally seen him greet Caroline upon her arrival - very excitedly! Skye is a slow old lady rescue dog and, when our circumstances changed and getting her out for a long walk daily became difficult, I worried that she wouldn't get the attention she needed. Luckily for us we found Caroline - she doesn't seem to mind our usual family chaos and will add Skye to walks at short notice as well as accept we sometimes don't need her without much warning! Skye loves her new doggy friends and is slimmer and bouncier as a result of the extra exercise she gets. Caroline is reliable, trustworthy, friendly and flexible ... what more could anyone want?!
